Awesome tree
KimT· Review provided by homedepot.com · November 18, 2024
I was looking for a new tree and started my search in October. I looked at Balsam Hill and was flabbergasted by the high price for an equivalent tree and come fully decorated. In my mind for the high price the tree should smell like I am in a forest. I saw the tree IRL at my local Home Depot and first saw the regular size and then I saw the slim which I wanted because I was replacing a slim tree. I went straight home and ordered for pick up the next day. I picked it up on October 27. I put it up on November 17 to make sure that the lights worked and they do!!

It’s a beautiful tree and I am so glad I ordered it when I did because I see now it’s sold out.

I included a pic lit still waiting for decorations. I hope it lasts several seasons and look forward to decorating.
Gorgeous tree! But be aware…

This tree is absolutely gorgeous! Required very minimal fluffing out of box. Literally only moved a couple of branches. It’s perfectly shaped. Twinkle setting is so pretty. The colored light setting is a bit not traditional. More blues and purples. Now my only downfall is the “warm white” they describe is not warm. It’s much more cool white and this thing is BRIGHT. So if you’re looking for the warm yellowish glow of a traditional tree this isn’t for you. Not sure how that hasn’t been mentioned.
Colored lights do not twinkle
Stopoverchargingforcrap· Review provided by homedepot.com · November 23, 2024
The 9 settings are mostly garbage. No color twinkle option. Only the white lights. The flip/fade setting are basically just the lights all turning off and on at the same time. I wanted Christmas tree, not a cross-walk signal or SOS beacon. Basically, it is a flashing tree with only 1 twinkle setting. Going to have to string colored twinkle lights around it that have decent settings. If this tree was $200 cheaper, I’d rate it better. But since it’s nearly $400 out the door, it gets an iffy 3.
Lights not working
Judy· Review provided by homedepot.com · October 28, 2024
The tree was perfect until adding the top part. It wouldn’t drop into place easily like the bottom and middle sections, which are put into place first. I got the 7.5 foot tree and it was difficult to reach the top. I recommend using a ladder. There is a section of lights not working and the remote doesn’t work either. The tree is stuck in demo mode so it continuously changes through all 11 clear and color modes. Annoying. I will try using a ladder to adjust the top section and see if that works. Otherwise I will need to return it.
