I'd never purchased an advent calendar before, so when my 8 year old daughter expressed interest in getting a "Christmas countdown calendar", I did a Google search to see what I could find that might be fun. When I happened upon this, I was thrilled, because my daughter was already into Lego Friends, and has been collecting the sets. I thought this would be a nice addition to the little Lego world she's been creating. It did not disappoint. So fun to open up a window and discover what she would find and build. Now she has a little "winter wonderland" in her Lego Friends city. What a great idea. Much better than a boring old chocolate calendar, like I used to get when I was a kid. Of course, Wal-Mart had the best price, and was one of the very few who had it in stock. Great find.

The lego friends advent calendar is cute but it's very repetitive so you really only want to get it one year and after that you really don't need it.

The box was damaged which was a disappointment for s child's advent calendar!

My 9 year old twin daughters love this!
